Why invest in art

I will not pretend art is the highest-yielding asset on the market. But it is the only one that hangs in your home and works even while the markets sleep. An original with a certificate of authenticity, clear provenance and a living artist is value that deepens with time rather than dilutes.

Limited editions are the natural first step: a lower entry price, a fixed edition size, signed and numbered sheets. Collectors who buy large originals today mostly started exactly here.

And the main return cannot be entered in a spreadsheet: a painting chosen with the heart pays back, every single day, the attention you put into it. No other asset can do that.
